About the Story
Inspired by my own testimony, this fictional young adult series follows a brave and gifted girl who has spent much of her life fighting battles no one else can see.When she is young, something dark is spoken over her life. From that moment on, fear, lies, and confusion seem to follow her, slowly pulling her away from who God created her to be. As she grows older, she becomes entangled with someone she believes she can trust. But as time goes on, the relationship becomes painful, and she slowly begins to lose herself.Just when it seems that light might disappear altogether, God begins stirring something new inside her. She starts to remember who she is. But more importantly, whose she is. She finds her voice again and discovers the courage to use it.What follows is a journey of healing, faith, and learning to follow God even when she cannot see where He is leading. But stepping into the light does not mean the battles are over. When she begins using her story to help others, she encounters rejection, heartbreak, and unexpected opposition. Along the way, she discovers that sometimes following God means leaving behind everything familiar and trusting Him enough to step into an entirely new adventure.This is a story about spiritual battles, courage, second chances, and the unstoppable love of God. His love is strong enough to find us in the darkness, call us back to who we were created to be, and lead us into the light.

Hi Friends, I'm Jeanie
I am a writer, a dreamer, and someone learning to follow God one step at a time.This series came from a place I never thought I’d walk through, but that God has used to reveal His truth and power. It came from the ashes of spiritual warfare and a long, painful road back to Him.After graduating from Stanford, I found myself working as a designer at a tech startup, but deep down I knew I wasn’t walking in my true purpose. What I really wanted was to write. I dreamed of writing books that would inspire others and touch hearts in a way only stories can. And I remember praying and asking God to help me do that someday.The past ten years have been anything but easy. There have been twists I didn’t see coming, choices that didn’t always make sense, and seasons I wouldn’t have chosen. But through it all, God has been faithful. He’s been shaping me, refining me, and slowly answering that prayer in ways I never imagined.This series is a piece of that journey. It was born from some of my darkest moments...but also from the beauty God kept weaving through them. If you're searching for purpose or simply wondering if God still sees you, I hope this series reminds you that He does.
